U Better Shop it - Online Shopping Review

Shopping online these days can be so overwhelming, especially with things like eBay and Amazon out there. How do you know what is good and what is bad quality? How do you trust?

Today I am going to show you one of the best websites online with my U Better Shop it - Online shopping review.

As an interior designer, finding everything in one spot is unheard of. I mean, I have my favorites for couches, another for art...or should I say several places for art. Rugs in one place, decor in another and so on. I have had many occasions where I couldn't find a piece at all, because my vision was not made yet, or just something I couldn't locate, even with tons of people helping.

Rugs can be the foundation of any great room, finding one that makes everything pop, well that can be the challenge. But with U Better Shop it, their unique rug choices make it hard to pick what to decorate around it.


I like to start with the chairs or table that will be the statement piece of the room, like the pink chair with the white fur throw and the gold pillow. highlighting this furniture could be done in several ways, but the best is to find subtle color pops in the rug and curtains that you use in this room.

Now let's talk about wall art, I mean the art we put in a room can make or break that room. I have seen rooms that are amazing because of the artwork in the room. But, I have also seen rooms that frankly scare me to walk into, because either the art work is something that is confusing or too personal or just down right disturbing.

I am versatile in my decor, I love vintage, modern, European, Parisian and even Gothic and mid-evil pieces. But my favorite thing, which is probably my signature decor showcase, would be my wall collages. I just to fill up walls, yet minimilize the furniture. Don't get me wrong, furniture is key, but the decor is what makes a lovely beige couch pop. The couch itself is OK, but the pillows, the wall art, the rug, the table and the accents on the table are what make the couch noticeable at all. I have even become a fan of stacking art, both on the walls and on the floors. Gives it that art gallery or antique shop element.


So when I saw their beautiful large wall clock, I was already hooked. It is an absolute showcase to build around on your walls. Oh lets not leave out giving it layers by adding in smaller items and NOT everything has to be a clock. Meaning, if you wall is all antique keys, mix it up with a clock. If your wall is all vintage girl paintings, throw in some wooding word art and even a bust or two, it will give the main items depth and will even give the wall more attention then using the same thing throughout the entire room. A Great example would be the photo above, which is beautiful. But to me it is missing two elements, a rug and at least one thing to distract on the walls or floor. A large hanging floor lamp or even a more modern one that will still showcase the walls would work well. A metal or antique Teddy bear or several antique keys scattered about the walls and a coordinating vintage rug would tie it all together.

Room Decor

What we add to a room can make it or break it. Just imagine changing up the pillows to a gold and replacing all the plants with lamps. Now we have a totally different room. Is one better than the other? Of course not, it is all a matter of taste, it is your home, so express yourself. I am a huge fan of table vases with either foliage with a touch of color or succulents that need very little attention to thrive.


Not only did U Better Shop it have great table and room decor, but they seem to be adding daily, reassuring me that they have amazing taste in what they are trying to promote. I am excited to see what they put up now as it gives me inspiration for the next room I am taking on. I know I have talked a lot about home decor, since you all know that is one of my favorite subjects, but so is beauty, skincare and what woman doesn't love fashion?
